In fact, having the ability to instantly click on the program I wanted (usually firefox) as soon as I logged in actually saved time, ontop of the 5-10 seconds faster the OS boots compared to W7 (including pre-boot). Almost all reviews agreed that the layout needed some getting used to, but wasnât a hindrance once you mastered it.
